Support Groups in the Guilford County area:
This group is located in Greensboro, North Carolina and is made up of all kinds of families who are using both Unschooling and Homeschooling methods to educate their children. The aim of the facebook page is to help families set up social and educational outings for their kids.
High Point Home Educators
Grounded in solid Christian principles, HPHE welcomes all High Point and Triad area home educators. More than field trips, more than park days, more than moms' nights out--HPHE is all of these things, plus the kind of support and encouragement that is difficult to find anywhere else. The purpose and mission of HPHE is to provide support, guidance, encouragement and educational opportunities according to Biblical principles and ideals for hme educating families in the Triad area of North Carolina.
Lunch Bunch Learners
The Lunch Bunch Learners Homeschoolers is a group of open-minded individuals who live in the Triad region of North Carolina. We share a common goal of successfully homeschooling our children. We welcome people from all walks of life and we have a wide variety of lifestyles, educational philosophies, religious beliefs, and socio-economic backgrounds.
Southeast Triad Home Educators
The purpose of this group is to connect homeschooling families in Southeast Guilford County, North Carolina and nearby areas. We are a secular group, welcoming all walks of life. This group will be as active or inactive as the members choose to be here. All members are welcome to form clubs, groups, field trip adventures, etc. as they choose.
Triad College by Exam
Triad College by Exam was created to introduce families to alternative ways of obtaining college credit using CLEP, DSST, and other forms of non-traditional higher education. Group meeting discussions will include reasons to get college credit outside of a brick and mortar institution, online courses-where and how, dual homeschool/college by exam and much, much more.
Triad Homeschoolers is a support group for homeschoolers of all walks of life. We have families from all over the Triad and most activities are in Greensboro, High Point, and Kernersville. The majority of children in our group are middle school age and younger. We are an active group and require participation from members every four months.

“Christian Minority Home Educators (CMHE) is a Christian support group for minority home educators in the Piedmont Triad area of
North Carolina. Our mission is to glorify God in the education of our children by encouraging, strengthening, and discipling one another. CMHE provides its members an opportunity to share homeschooling ideas, teaching techniques, curriculum options, extracurricular activities information and more. We also provide opportunities for our children to regularly socialize with one another through field trips, park days, play dates, and more.
We do not discriminate based on race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin. We do not belittle any race and do not tolerate inflammatory remarks against any race of people. We seek to encourage unity among all groups of people and want the homeschooling community to be as diverse as the body of Christ. We also welcome families that have adopted minority children.”
